OAXACA EN LOS ROBLES We've used our love of Mexico and the state of Oaxaca to design this colorful and inviting studio. A great amount of thought and care was put into providing a top-notch guest experience. Our most frequent guest comment is "You've thought of everything!" We hope we have the opportunity to treat you to a 5-star stay as well! • King-size bed with hybrid coil and memory foam mattress • Queen sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress • Well-equipped full kitchen with stainless steel appliances • Keurig, French press, pour-over and drip coffee options and tea kettle. Organic coffee and teas, sweeteners and creamer are provided. • Smart TV with Netflix, YouTube TV and Hulu • Enjoy the outdoors with the dining area, conversation area, fire pit and gas grill. • Full-size ironing board and iron • We DO NOT ALLOW guests to bring PETS to our property. Please do not ask. Our rural property is not fenced. We regularly have wild animals such as coyotes, bobcats and mountain lions come through our property. We have chosen not to allow guests to bring pets to our property for safety reasons. • There are no curtains on the entry door. However, there are curtains in the bedroom space. • The studio is located on the top of a hill. It can get very windy. • The studio is on the lower floor of a 2-story structure. A workshop located above the studio.

Neighborhood

The guesthouse is located just outside the Paso Robles city limits on a private road. The neighborhood is quiet and rural, yet minutes from town.

Guest Access

Guests will have access to the studio, adjacent private patio and designated parking spaces. Level 2 EV charger is located in our garage. Tesla owners please bring an adapter. Please let us know before check-in if you will need to use the charger. We will make the charging cable available so you can charge when you arrive. We have a pool, but due to liability concerns, it will not be available for unsupervised use. The pool has a code-protected pool cover for safety. To reiterate, the use of the pool and spa IS NOT INCLUDED with the rental.

Jane and Russell's place was spectacular, one of the absolute best airbnbs my wife and I have stayed in. They had several nice touches for us and you can't beat the view!

Jane and Russell have thought of everything. They have thought of every tiny little detail, and the house has everything you need. The location is just 5 mins outside of town, and it was easy to get Ubers for days we were drinking wine. The view is spectacular, great for morning coffee and stargazing.

Another visit to Paso, another great stay at Jane and Russell’s place. Nothing to add to my prior reviews … it now feels like a home away from home. Incredible views, excellent space, super quiet and private.

This is one of the most memorable ABnBs we've stayed at because of the view which was just spectacular. The place was located conveniently to downtown Paso Robles and the studio itself was very clean and comfortable with all amenities we needed. We also really appreciated the EV charger which worked well with an adapter we had for our Tesla. Everything was very clean and the king size bed mattress was supportive and very comfortable. We stayed here in mid-May and one morning we happened to wake up early at 5:30 am and were treated to a lovely sunrise! If you get a chance, the sunrise here is not to be missed. Jane and Russell were excellent hosts, very responsive and helpful. They were kind enough to have a few goodies waiting including cold beer, some excellent Mexican Oaxacan chocolate cookies, chips etc. that we highly appreciated! Thanks!

The beautiful hilltop views were amazing and were the highlight of the stay. They thought of every detail inside and it was spacious, comfortable, and peaceful. It was so close to Paso, but also felt miles outside of town. Would absolutely book here again.

Wow, exceptional place. Beautiful view, and the large studio extremely well laid out with everything in the kitchen needed! It is up on a hill, the sunrises are magnificent, and watching the sky change at sunset also magical. The bed is extremely comfortable! The studio decor --great colors and great layout. Peachy Canyon Road down to Paso Robles, easy and the drive along Peachy Canyon Road to Vineyard Road magical. Highly recommend and Jane and Russell exceptionally nice!

Very close to downtown Paso, though perched high on a hill where you feel a world away! Our 2nd visit and we can’t wait to return. A favorite among guest favorites to be sure. Just go!

Certainly one of the best Airbnb's we have stayed in. The views of Paso Robles are breathtaking and yet we were only a 5 minute drive from downtown which provided access to some of the best restaurants and wine tasting rooms in the area. All the little amenities that are sometimes lacking (e.g. sponges to clean dishes, a broom to sweep crumbs off the floor, etc) were easily labeled and identified. The house manual (which is available in digital or notebook form) was easily one of the best we have seen. Russell and Jane were easily accessible for any questions we had. The home provided excellent privacy for a quiet and relaxing vacation. As others have noted the house was super clean and once again, little things, like a mattress that felt new and not broken down by years of use were easily appreciated. Hopefully we will be back in the future. In summary, this Airbnb truly felt like you visiting someone's home and not a corporate rental that was decorated by a risk adverse accountant.

Find Us

It is a short drive to downtown Paso Robles. It is about a half-hour walk to downtown. It is doable, but you will likely want a car ride back to the property. The guesthouse is at the top of a hill and the walk up is strenuous.
